Hier, Kendrick Lamar avait posté un énigmatique « IV » et effacé l’ensemble de ses autres posts Instagram. Les fans ont commencé à supputer sur l’arrivée d’un nouvel opus. Finalement, ce n’est pas le cas, mais le rappeur est bien de retour avec une nouvelle chanson “The Heart Part 4“.
Le titre pourrait être annonciateur d’un nouveau projet, il s’inscrit dans la série de qu’il a débute en 2010. Musicalement, c’est soulful, les arrangements vocaux fleuves parcourent le titre avec une grâce certaine. Il n’y a pas de surprise après “ To Pimp a Butterfly“, il reste dans la même lignée, mais au niveau du texte, il s’énerve peu et remet les choses au point avec certains rappeurs.
En effet, Kendrick a eu envie de préciser :
- Qu’il est” the greatest rapper alive ».

C’est assez violent, dur dans la forme, et doux sur le fond. Un titre fort sympathique qui sonne aussi comme une mise en bouche avant la sortie officielle du disque.
