Le site officiel de prévisions HDD qui donne habituellement les prévisions sur les ventes américaines chaque semaine vient de changer de créneau en donnant leurs pronostics pour les Grammys Awards 2016. Ce n’est pas basé sur les ventes cette fois, mais sur ceux qu’ils voient gagner au vu des rumeurs et indications des différents comités. Rien n’est donc certain, mais c’est toujours intéressant à regarder. Kendrick Lamar qui partait favori avec 11 nominations en gagne 4, mais aucun dans les catégories majeures. Il est suivi par The Weeknd qui fait le plein dans les nominations R&B, mais qu’on retrouve aussi dans le panel pop avec I can’t feel My face. D’Angelo tire son épingle du jeu avec Black Messiah, mais c’est un bilan assez pauvre. Il manque de diversité, de surprises et de fantaisie. Ils ne l’ont pas totalement basé sur les ventes, mais énormément sur la hype. On le voit avec le fait que Taylor Swift soit la reine dans les catégories pop. Pareil Bruno Mars est le roi en pop grâce à Uptown Funk.
