Hier , elle a proposé une assez superbe performance du titre” Brand New Me” au Royal Society, pour les anglais donc . C’est un titre parfaitement calibré pour séduire ce public là notamment en période de fêtes et elle s’en sort bien mieux vocalement sur cette chanson que sur le premier single.

Another day, another performance for Alicia Keys. The promotion is huge for the RCA Queen and yesterday she went on the Royal Society event to perform her new song ” Brand New Me”. The performance was great, she is clearly more comfortable with this song than with the 1st single. The vocal were soft and very pleasent. It seems to be a great choice for her to release this song as a single in the UK. It is r&b/soul but still pop friendly and it can help her sales in this chrismas period.

Une petite déception quand on sait que le précédent avait frôlé les 70.000 copies en première semaine et qu’elle a déjà épuisé le gros de sa promotion. Cependant en Uk, elle a souvent vendu sur le long terme donc tout n’est pas totalement perdu dans l’optique d’avoir un peu plus de 300.000 preneurs.
